no limits

From my morning devotional:

"Beware in your prayer, above everything, of limiting God, not only by unbelief, but by fancying that you know what He can do. Expect unexpected things, above all that we ask or think. Each time you intercede, be quiet first and worship God in His glory. Think of what He can do, of how He delights to hear Christ, of your place in Christ; and expect great things."
~Andrew Murray

Limiting God.

Believers limit God by not even taking the time to tap into the greatest tool of their spiritual arsenal - prayer. And when time is taken for prayer it is limited by our earthly expectations. But, ohhhhh, how His power can be displayed when we intercede by letting go of all that is on our heart and mind turning it over to Him and allowing His will to be done! Suddenly we have great expectations knowing He is released to work....without our interference. What an adventure! To see how He will creatively answer beyond anything we could come up with from our human point of view.

Unlimited God.

Take some time to share the difficult things on your heart today in prayer. Let go and let God. There are no limits to His answers. And be ready for the adventure :-)

Blessings,
Tammy ~@~
