greeting the sunshine

From my gardening flip calendar:

"In spring, a friend is the first daffodil opening to greet the sunshine."

Hey, friend! It's so good to see your sunny faces smiling in my yard again!

May you have spring flower smiles in your garden, too!

Blessings,
Tammy ~@~

We're gettin' there ~ S.L.O.W.L.Y! Even our trees have tiny green leaves emerging FINALLY. But guess what? They're forecasting SNOW FLURRIES on FOUR of the next eight days!!!

Getting our sprinklers fix today, so hopefully everything will get the water it needs. It'd better--this isn't going to be cheap!

Nice shot, Mom!! Most of our daffodils are gone, but the tulips are still abundant! This pic reminds me, you should get your oldest boy at home to recite that Wordsworth poem..he loves it so much. LOL!

Tammi! Don't you dare send any of that snow to me :-p

Yay, Luke! We kind of have a sprinkler system, too. I yell out the window telling the kids where to jump over the sprinkler next ;-)

I'd love to try planting some tulips again...if I could just figure out how to keep the deer away from them :::sigh:::

So very pretty Tammy! I sadly have a black thumb and haven't planted anything around my home. I really want to change that this year though...I need some color!
