celebrating three

It's time to celebrate!  Today is my THIRD Blog Anniversary!  Three years of wandering through my garden and sharing with YOU!

To bless those who stop by here, I've put together a basket full of gardening odds and ends as a giveaway.  The chosen person will receive the following:

* a yellow kitchen towel with flowers
* a vanilla-tangerine candle
* a picture frame with a garden theme
* the newest kind of gardening gloves
* one ladybug garden row marker
* a little flowered pot for a plant
* four flower seed packets
* some Scripture fruit of the spirit cards
* a fun little girl's craft wooden flower necklace
* notecards with little birdhouses on them
* a small flowered notebook
* a smaller notebook
* a cute package of kleenex
* a happy pink flower to stick in your garden
* a thirty-one day devotional called Abiding in Christ - Becoming a woman who walks with God by Cynthia Heald
* and all of the above comes in a basket
To enter the giveaway, please leave me a comment telling me what your favorite flower is even if it's something that doesn't grow in your garden.

Since it's spring and the season of new life, to get a second entry please add to your comment the fruit of the spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, patience) you'd love to grow in your life in the days ahead and I'll pray for you!

Now that you have a way of celebrating my blog anniversary, I'm going to celebrate by taking a mini blog vacation.  I'll be back in a week to announce the winner!  See you next Thursday morning!

Enjoy!

Blessings,
Tammy ~@~

Hello Tammy,
Happy 3rd blog anniversary to you. This post made me wonder when my first blog anniversary would be. Guess what, it's today!!! Haha. After this comment, I will be off to write a post about it but nothing to give-away for I completely forgot about it. Oh well, I'll just celebrate with you.

Of course, I will try to win your basket of goodies so I'm hoping to have 2 entries.

My favorite flower is an orchid (of any kind). I can move it anywhere without hurting its growth.

The fruit of the spirit that I want to grow in my life is JOY. I'm serious and by nature a melancholic person. I want to be joyful all the time.

Enjoy your vacation!

Happy Blogoversary!

I'm not telling my favorite flower because I don't need to enter the give-away [smile]. Just wanted to swing by to help you celebrate this milestone.

Patience is much needed here...

My very new favorite flowering plant is the Hosta. I never planted them before last year. I thought they all died (they seemed to go rather early in the season?)and I thought I would have to find some other perennial to plant. Wouldn't you know, those hostas popped out of nowhere in my garden 2 weeks ago... found them when I was mulching. Just beautiful.

The fruit of the Spirit I'm working on is, well, two that go hand in hand. Gentleness and Patience. I have two little ones... and I think that each is vying to win who can teach me those virtues the most!!! :)

I have come to love coneflowers because they do grow so well here. They multiply profusely, attracts bees and butterflies when in bloom and then feed the goldfinches when they go to seed.

Happy Blog-a-versary!!

One of my favorite flowers are cosmos, and then there are clematis, and tulips, and hyacinths, and hollyhocks, and... :)

Joy, patience and gentleness seem to have trouble taking root in my garden these days. (Does it count if I say three?!) Thank you for your prayers!

Happy Spring to you!
