"The saint realizes that it is God Who engineers circumstances, consequently there is no whine, but a reckless abandon to Jesus.  Never make a principle out of your experience;  let God be as original with other people as He is with you." ~ Oswald Chambers

Love that last line....."let God be as original with other people as He is with you."

Just as we are all original one-of-a-kind creations of His, so will our experiences be original one-of-a-kind as He works in and through our lives. The key is  to abandon ourselves to Him and watch Him work firsthand realizing it isn't about the experience.  It's about faith.  And trust.  And love.

We may think we have the answers for other people due to our own experiences, but we need to let go realizing that they need to be willing to do the very same thing.  Trust their lives to God and watch Him work firsthand.  They, too, will learn about faith, trust, and love.  His abundant love.

I love this. It reminds me of a portion from CS. Lewis's 'A Horse and His Boy' where one of the children, inquiring what is happening to someone else, is told by Aslan, "That is their story."
